Capable and informative GP
I received vaccinations from a very capable and informative GP the day I went in. Great. But I think you know that generally, GP visits are impossible to book at this clinic in particular. When I lived in Southsea and used a different clinic, it was quite different.

Thank you for your feedback, we are currently working hard to reduce our 'Do Not Attends,' in October at Kingston Crescent 135 appointments were not attended, this is a total of lost clinician time of 55.3 hours or 2.3 weeks, an average cost of £1,729. If these had been cancelled more appointments would have been available to others.

The Doctor was so sympathetic
She listened to how I felt and was really comforting when I was crying, she contacted the hospital and true to her word she phoned me at home with the results and a new medication.

I had a telephone consultation with a doctor and then came in to be examined by a paramedic. I do usually struggle to get appointments but this time was easier I hope that carries on.

Back Pain consultation
Took some time to get through after 0800, nearly 0900 before call answered. Good triage and the physio phoned back after about 2 hrs, he gave me some tips on self help and pain relief and sent me an email with more details etc.
You can register for a physio appointment and then 4 DAYS later phone for an appointment this is very poor.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

Thank you for your feedback. With the ever-increasing demands on our services, it is simply not possible or, indeed, appropriate for all our patients to see a GP, particularly for urgent problems. All of our Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners are fully clinically trained and supported by an on-site duty doctor if they need any assistance whatsoever.
