Thorough check, effective reassurance
The Nurse was sympathetic to my mother's pain and distress. She performed a gradual series of checks, working up to manipulation, which gave me confidence she could rule out serious problems. Throughout, she was tactful and caring.

I felt I was listened to
I was greeted after only a few minutes by the nurse seeing me and she was very nice and professional. I felt I was listened to and cared for during my time at the doctor surgery and was overall please with the service I received.

Polite, understanding and supportive
I saw Dr Chhapia to review my medications; he was polite, understanding, supportive and I felt like we worked together. He listened to my concerns and dealt with me in a compassionate and professional manner. As a health professional myself I was impressed, relieved and happy with my consultation. I have had very negative dealings with another Dr at the surgery so this was a huge relief to have a Dr listen to me and take into account my concerns and medical history.

Was seen quickly
After trying to get an appointment for some weeks I was told to go to St Mary’s walk in centre. The doctor there said he couldn’t help me I needed to be referred to QA by my doctor. I went straight to GP surgery with note I was give. Receptionist made an appointment I was seen in an hours time by GP who done referral. I now have appointment at QA max face on Friday 19th September.

The girls on reception try very hard to fit you in with medical attention which is always a problem due to the shortage of doctors. This visit was for a back sore which was seen by a nurse practitioner. We also took the opportunity to have outstanding injections and our annual flu jab.

Pleasantly surprised
First time I’ve visited Kingston Crescent and I was very pleasantly surprised. The waiting room is spacious and I had a very good experience with a young health care assistant. I had a check up for my pre diabetes with the HCA and in the consultation, some other concerns arose about my blood pressure. The HCA took her time investigating the issue and she eased my worries by taking blood tests and liaising with a doctor to find out what could be wrong. I ended up finding out the reason for my low blood pressure which put my mind at ease! I wouldn’t mind visiting there again.

Thank you for your feedback, we are currently working hard to reduce our 'Do Not Attends,'in August at Kingston Crescent 51 appointments were not attended, this is a total of lost clinician time of 46.7 hours or 1.9 weeks, an average cost of £1,255. If these had been cancelled more appointments would have been available to others.
