Undetected urinary tract infection
As I've received this survey after having a few stitches removed, I don't feel it's representative of how patients are treated, at the Kingston Crescent Surgery. A short while ago, I came into the Surgery doubled over in pain, a Dr made me feel like I'm wasting the surgeries time coming in. His attitude was; "& why have you come here with this" He tested me for infection, & gave the all clear. As the horrendous pain was in no way subsiding, I decided later at night; about 11pm, to go to the walk-in centre at St Marys. They tested me, & confirmed I had a urinary tract infection. I was confined to bed for 5 days, & in agony, not being able to eat much more than fruit, & continually constipated, which was adding to the discomfort. A similar incident happened some years back, when I was sent away, & it turned out I had a bust appendix.

Doctor was nice
I visited my doctor, he made new appointment for me - to visit female doctor. So, my visit was pointless as I did not have any recommendations, tests or treatment. I took a day off for that visit and have to do it again.

Nurses were lovely
Both Nurses in my appointment were lovely, they made me and my partner feel really comfortable and made what could of been an uncomfortable experience (the 3 year check) a pleasant one instead, we all chatted and laughed and as uncomfortable as the procedure was it made it easier. Thank you.
