I have not visited the practice for weeks and if you're referring to the phone call from the doctor I'd say it was awful. He agreed I needed to have a home visit asap, but he didn't appear and I was rushed into hospital for emergency surgery. When I'm discharged I will be requiring a home visit and hopefully he will arrive in time next time.

Doctors appointment

I was very happy to receive a doctors appointment quite so quickly. The doctor was new to the surgery but he was good and told me that he couldn’t prescribe medicine for my swollen painful ankles until a nurse had done a test. I went out to get the test done only to be told that no-one was available (only 1 person apparently can do it) until at the earliest next week. I therefore am awaiting this appointment with swollen painful legs. I think the doctor needs to know how delayed a treatment is before he decides on prescribing medication

Just a routine blood test. The check in machine wasn’t working again so went to desk as was told someone had taken me off as if I had had the test done? But gentleman amended that straight away

Poor NHs services

As with most NHS services, you get to go through hell in order to get to see a doctor. My kids have severe stomach aches and for 4 weeks we have received any proper attention. No medications, no proper examination to ascertain what’s wrong with them. It’s heartbreaking.

Lightheadedness

The appointment ran a bit late. The attending GP appeared to be impatient as they disclosed the diagnosis after the patient described their symptoms and condition, using a medical term, which is foreign to them and roughly explained it in a sentence or two. Then they asked the patient, "if that makes sense?" which did not make sense at the start until they searched in the medical term and showed a diagram, after the patient asked the diagnosis and its cause.

I recently attended Kingston Crescent surgery to see a doctor about a recurring sickness.
I filled out the form online and within an hour I had a call giving me an appointment time that same morning. I was very pleased with the staff, the doctor was excellent and the reception staff were friendly and polite.
