I saw a paramedic on this appointment he appeared very well distracted, left the consultation room several times and seemed confused about the tablets I should be taking.. most unsatisfactory and did not give me any confidence.

I find it impossible to get a doctors appointment. Cancelling an appointment with the nurse takes ages on the phone. Your receptionists are, in the main, very unhelpful. When eventually get in to see a doctor that’s all good.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

I am very happy with this surgery. I thought our old one was good but this surgery has surpassed that. I am surprised how easy it is to get an appointment when needed rather than wait for weeks, the staff are so helpful and friendly and no errors made, so far i feel very comfortable in the surgery whilst waiting its a pleasant experience all round.

I was really ill with a virus recently, rang surgery for an urgent appt to see a G.P. I was not happy that I ended up seeing a nurse and not a G.P. I dont feel that I was diagnosed in a professional manner, I feel so unhappy with this practice that I am seeking to go to another surgery. I just wish to add when i ring for an appt to see a G.P.

Thank you for your feedback. With the ever-increasing demands on our services, it is simply not possible or, indeed, appropriate for all our patients to see a GP, particularly for urgent problems. All of our Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners are fully clinically trained and supported by an on-site duty doctor if they need any assistance whatsoever.

Cannot fault the practice

I was given an appointment with no problems for 9am today and was seen right on time. When the Doctor looked on his screen, it was noticed I needed a tetanus booster which he gave me.
I was also asked if I travel abroad and as I dove gave me a measles injection. I personally can't fault this practice.
