I was able to access a medication request and then offered a referral appointment which I was able to access via a message. It was quick, easy and definitely better service than having to call each day and await an appointment. Thank you

Unable to see a GP
I am 6 weeks postpartum and recovering from high blood pressure, an infection, high cholesterol and other various issues. Due to the new online system Anima you have to have one very specific issue and follow a set criteria or set questions which is impossible if you don’t fit within that.
I asked to see a GP in regards to medications that were treating Preeclampsia and ended up with very low blood pressure instead! When booked in for an appointment I was booked in with a HCA which resulted in them being very frustrated towards me and my partner as all they could do was take my blood pressure (which I did not need as I have a monitor at home). When I call the surgery at 8am they are unable to assist in booking a GP appointment over the phone. I feel this needs to still be an option to speak to a human being instead of being re directed to forms online.

With any new system we must listen to our patients and make changes where we can. Please be assured we are constantly reviewing feedback and making changes where required and appropriate. There currently are not plans to revert back to appointments made via the telephone.

I filled in the form for an emergency appointment for my 5 week old baby, I had a phone call that day to book an appointment for 3 days time. 3 days time for a poorly 5 week old baby that has a temperature is disgusting, there is no duty of care what so ever.
