Hi Kevin, as you can imagine primary care is very busy and we often have things out of our control that happen and cause our staff to run behind, including emergencies. We still like to see as many patients as we possibly can, and always work hard to try and catch up and get appointments back on time.

I came in to book a shingles injection

The doctor discussed my last symptoms. I decided to go ahead with the second jab. I was worried as I had a bad reaction to the first one. The second shot did not give me the same symptoms. Thank you. Also I didn’t have to come back, he did it straight away.

Phone appointment

My face to face appointment was cancelled and changed to a phone appointment which is fine but the pharmacist had no idea what I was getting the call for, all was sorted in the end getting medication but the other issues I had have not yet

Timing mix up

I was sent two reminders about my appointment which had differing times on. I arrived at the time I booked to be informed I was late. Receptionist was very blunt until I showed her the reminder texts on my phone. Begrudgingly let me keep my appointment.
