Appointment

The nurse was very nice however I bled a lot after my blood tests. I have had this before and my arm is looking a bit of a mess inside my elbow. If you go to QA for your blood test the phlebotomist never ever do this, you don’t even feel it does this, the arm is always fine afterwards.

Think if a blood test is required while you have an appointment for another appointment why don’t they do it at the same time? Instead of going back a week later. Would save another appointment for someone else. Or is it no one around to take bloods at surgery? Just a thought.

Thank you for your feedback. For any blood test there needs to be a form - this is so that the lab knows what they are testing the blood for, but also gives guidance to our clinician, so without this form we are unable to take blood. It may also be that there is no available blood test slots/time at that specific time.

An excellent primary care service

While on sick leave over a long period, my experience was excellent. The team of professionals ( GP, Dietitian, Diabetic Nurses, Wound Nurses and Pharmacist) provided collectively an excellent primary care service second to none. I now understand hope the primary care links up with secondary care. Thank you for all you have done.
