They were all really lovely

Very helpful and pleasant experience, my mum was very nervous about going to the doctors, and I can honestly say they were all really lovely

Appointment

If you invite someone for a "review" the attending clinician should be able to answer any and all questions. Whilst she was very lovely she could not answer my questions about diabetes at my "diabetic review". The appointment was merely a blood test and foot check so NOT a review.

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry that you felt you could not discuss your diabetes in as much detail as you wanted at your appointment. We are reviewing the wording and may amend to 'diabetes annual check' to avoid any confusion to our patients. However, if you needed to discuss your diabetes further then this can be arranged for you. If you mention this at the appointment, the HCA can task the diabetes team admin to contact you with an appointment.

I had a very good experience with the reception staff who additionally helped me make changes to correct my medical history summary and helped with getting the Airmid app. The nurse who took the blood sample was also great. Having looked through the pathology reports, I am less clear about the lack of a need for follow up, or advice on some of the readings, esp. the cholesterol reading which seems very close to 6.
