My Asthma/COPD nurse was excellent.

My appointment was on time. I received great help from the desk staff about logging in to the site internet and the support I received from my Asthma/COPD nurse was excellent.

I found the receptionist extremely helpful

Found the receptionist extremely helpful as I had a problem registering, also you were able to accommodate my husband who didn't have an appointment but was able to have his vaccinations alongside me, the doctor was very pleasant

Booking was simple

Once I remembered to use the text within the 7 days of receiving it, booking was simple. I did need to go a long way in advance to find a time and location suitable, but as it wasn't an emergency, just a check up it wasn't a problem.
On the day I was seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time, the nurse was friendly but professional and she managed to arrange a vaccination I was due whilst I was there so no need to make another appointment which would mean more time off work.

Seemed pointless, this is why GP's are busy for no reason. there was no reason for the appointment made for me. came in for a diabetic review that I didn't need but was told it was needed. came in, Doc weighed me. made a sarcastic comment about me gaining weight after Christmas. spoke down to me and was fake nice. tried talking to me about things, when I said I didn't know what the definition of the word she used was she used the word to define it making it pointless, seemed to get funny with me when saying you can't use the word to define it. overall 30 minutes of wasted time and money for me and the NHS. Do like, however, that they will listen when I refuse to change my medication as have tried multiple different types and know what is working for me and what isn't.

The nurse I saw was brilliant, she told me that I needed to make an appointment to see the Dr. That is proving really difficult as I can’t go online. My right hand is riddled with arthritis and the left arm is artificial, so that can’t help, my carer I have coming doesn’t do online and 4 times now I have had to wait as I try to get through only to be 30 in the queue then told later there are no appointments try tomorrow. The receptionist are sympathetic but they can’t do anything, I think when you reach a certain age like me nearly 77 no one is bothered, a bit like the Chancellor Reeves of the Treasury Thieves lies about her qualifications to attempt to do a job she doesn’t comprehend properly. The Country is in a sad state of affairs.

Thank you for leaving feedback. I am sorry that you are struggling to get an appointment. Our urgent on the day GP appointments are released at 8am and 2pm every day, but they do go quickly, as you can imagine, so you will need to phone as soon as open. Our routine GP appointments are released at 10am every day for 1 week ahead, so again, they also go quite quickly so you need to phone as soon as they are released. We realise the situation is not ideal, but this is a nation-wide issue we are facing across primary care.
