Everyone was really professional and so helpful from the receptionist to the nurses that took out my stitches to the gentleman who gave me my shingles jab, because I have a bad phobia about going for appointment to the doctors but they were all so helpful and did an excellent job calming me.

The clinicians have been excellent. I have been seen on time and staff have been very helpful with information. I have been receiving ongoing treatment and each appointment I have received excellent care each time.

This was an appointment which I had expected a face to face meeting to discuss my heart failure treatment.
Instead it was only a blood test.
On asking questions the nurse managed to find me a face to face appointment with a heart nurse a few weeks later.

Mental Health Crisis emergency appointment

Following a disappointing encounter with an emergency Doctor when I was in mental crisis, I was offered an appointment with that same Doctor which I politely declined and asked to have an appointment regardarding the same issues with Dr Lookit. I appreciate that this was facilitated.
Dr Lookit is an amazingly unique Doctor. Not only does he genuinely care for his patients, emotionally intelligent and empathetic but also a consummate professional and very thorough. As terrible as I was feeling yesterday, I felt better after seeing Dr Lookit which helped me for which I am very grateful for. The Practice if very fortunate to have a Doctor as passionate and patient orientated as Dr Lookit.

I would appreciate if you could pass on my thanks to Dr Lookit as well as my feedback. Thank you.

The actual appt was fine given my last appointment was cancelled for Somers Town surgery and was cancelled on the day with a message re book. Like rebooking anything is easy with the practice.
The appalling appointment (random) system phone at 8 and hope there are any slots left or the 7 pm lottery is made even more annoying by your website claims and the fact we are constantly told to consult a doctor first. I assume you think it's OK.

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to assure you that we only cancel appointments, if we really have no other option, that said, where possible we will re-book an appointment where we can. Please be assured that we are very much aware of the access issues, demand in general across the NHS out weighs the available capacity, but there is no other way of asking a patient to re-book, if that is what is required. Media advertising can often be misleading as this is not bespoke to each individual Practice therefore, often an advert may say 'contact your GP' but this needs to be done via the Practice process. We are sorry that we are not providing a service to your expectations and will take on board your feedback.

The appointment itself was good and informative and the nurse was kind and explained everything clearly. That being said, booking an appointment was incredibly difficult with hardly any being offered and the app being very difficult to use (you have to click into each appointment to see if it's the correct one). There are also no appointments offered at my local practice which is very impractical.

With regards to gaining an appointment, we are sorry that the app was difficult to use, this is something we are looking into to try to improve the patient experience. We offer appointments at all our sites, but if you do have preference this may just lead to a longer wait.
