Urgent appointment
From the initial call and triage, which was handled with respect, care and efficiency, I received a call back from a GP and an urgent appointment was arranged for the same morning. I was very relieved to get the appointment. The GP was very thorough and explained everything and wrote a prescription for me.

Respiratory nurse was lovely
A very good experience, respiratory nurse was lovely explaining everything step by step, until we hit a slight bump in the process, then explained what had happened and the next steps that we had to do, am still waiting on that one step to complete the respiratory process, but not the respiratory nurse’s fault.
Am waiting on hospital appointment.

Issue with nephrostomy
I have been having an ongoing problem with my nephrostomy. The staff at Kingston Crescent Surgery and the district nurses have been kind, helpful and fast to help sort my issue. The skin infection and abscess appear to have gone (thank goodness) I’m now waiting for the hospital to arrange a date to remove the left kidney.

I have been asked by the surgery to do an Econsult, I have been trying for weeks. Whenever I try at the right time it says it's closed and will reopen the following day. I'm presuming they are filled up already. So now the doctor is refusing to prescribe my Mirtazapine which I take for depression and anxiety. Trying to do this Econsult is making my anxiety worse. I am in counselling and will have to mention this at my next appointment.

Thank you for your feedback. eConsult is very popular and, as with all our services, we have finite capacity and so it does close when that capacity has been met. If you have been sent a link to the correct form, that will help but it does need to be accessed 'promptly' at 6.30pm (not before). You can telephone the prescription team between 10am and 1pm on Option 3 and see if there are medication review appointments available to maintain your prescribed medications. We do typically advise when medication reviews are due in good time to arrange this, we are sorry to hear that it has affected your supply.

Came in because of my tonsil
I came in because of my tonsils as one is bigger than the other and has a yellow patch on it. I was told I had a tonsil stone however the discolouration is on the skin of the tonsil not a stone lodged in. I know this as I’ve previously had tonsil stones so I know the difference. Also I saw a nurse not a doctor which could be why they didn’t know anything.
