Have never seen a doctor in many months. HCSWirkers and nurse practitioners are great but it would be nice to see a doctor.

We have a very large multi disciplinary team - something we have worked hard to introduce and are very proud of. If you need to see a GP, our trained care navigators will advise you of this. The best thing to do is call our team on Option 2 10am - 1pm to discus your medical query and determine who the most appropriate person would be. It is absolutely a GP in some cases, but with our vast team of Health Professionals, it may be that another colleague is more appropriate.

This was a meds review done over the telephone. The clinician was very friendly and the review was conducted in a very professional and courteous manner with any questions I had being fully and clearly answered as we progressed.

My appointment was a 'veteran check'. I was particularly impressed that the nurse was knowledgeable on aspects of being a veteran and very helpful, unfortunately a family member, also a veteran had a very different outcome as he saw someone with no experience of service life.

MMR vaccine

I called into drop in centre to see if I could have my MMR vaccine, at Park House Cosham surgery, receptionist was very pleasant and helpful, I was informed I could wait for duty doctor to carry out procedure, I only had to wait 5 minutes, very pleased with service

My experience

First time seen same day for blood test but had another text to book my flu injection because of my copd, answered text within seconds, no appointments, still no appointments?

Flu appointments should be available by following the link in the text. We are aware the link does expire so you can drop in or call us. There are flu clinics running Saturday 16th and 23rd September, as well as through the week. Our contact centre team will be happy to help you - they do book quickly!

Amazing Doctor

After 2 weeks of trying to get an appointment and a E consult finally got a telephone appointment with Dr Lookit who I can honestly say was amazing and thoroughly dealt with mine and my daughters ailments. He went above and beyond and felt he truly listened and cared.
