The receptionist was very helpful as I have a very old phone and cannot accept emails. I saw the respiratory nurse and once again very thorough and I was more than satisfied with the outcome.

The check in process was very easy and, there was plenty of space in the waiting area for social distancing. The nurse was patient, knowledgeable and understanding. She gave me time to explain my needs and also checked if there was anything else I was concerned about, she was excellent!

After 2 weeks of trying to get to see a doctor, when I got really unwell the surgery put me to see a doctor.
Initial conversation by phone with the doctor and then I was asked to be seen in the surgery where a nurse did the appointment.
I was able to have some help for my problem and was put for medical exams to find out what is the underlining problem.

Impossible to get to see a GP. 45 minutes on trying to phone surgery. Appt with a nurse instead. BUT no one waiting in the surgery so who exactly are the GPS seeing face to face?!?

Thank you for your feedback. There are peak periods on the phones, as you'd expect. This is typically 8am for the acutely unwell, and 10am when our GP appointments are released. They are also released online at 7pm a week in advance.

If you were given an appointment with a nurse, that would be because that staff member is the most appropriate person for you to see. We are really pleased to have an extended multi-disciplinary team with a variety of specialties. Waiting rooms are not an accurate indication of the hard work our staff do every day - please do review our activity data that we publish monthly. it is no secret that we are doing more phone work (although over 45% of our appointments are still face to face) but we do this because that gives us more capacity, and means we can bring in the patients that need to be seen.

The GPs across the practice are ensuring that our medically complex and vulnerable patients are accessing the care they need.

After a few hiccups with online services, I went into my doctor's surgery at Kingston Crescent to ask for help. Receptionist Sue went above and beyond to deliver a kind and caring service, nothing was too much for her and I genuinely felt looked after. Very much appreciated when you're not feeling great.
