I had a face to face appointment to get the results of my recent knee x ray and to see if I had any side effects from new blood pressure medication.
I checked in on the computer screen which told me the doctor was running late which is helpful.
I saw Dr Kent who explained the results of the x ray, she asked about any side effects from my medication. We also talked about how I was coping since the death of my husband. She said I should contact them if I had any problems,
I couldn’t have asked for more from the consultation. The care I get from the surgery is amazing,

Check up after operation
Saw the nurse, who checked my stomach and took the paddings off. She was very happy with everything and explained about the bloating of my stomach and would take a while for it to go down. She put my mind at ease and I left feeling a lot better.

MRI results

Thank you for arranging blood tests in Aug 2024 & February 2025
August 2024 received a diagnosis I wasn’t expecting! A Shock! With comments noting review in 6 months
time. Hence patient lead request February 2015 blood tests. Results stated no actions (that’s a positive)
However, not seen a doctor or any guidance how often I need to be screened for any further changes in the condition
Is it patient led time frame wise to request ongoing bloods?
Reception staff on the telephone & on front of desk reception are fantastic

I arrived half an hour early for my blood test, as I was dependent on a taxi to get to the practice. Despite being so early, I was called in practically straight away! The nurse was really lovely & personable. Brilliant service.

Check on wound dressing
Phoned the surgery late in the day and managed to get an appointment for the following morning to see the Nurse Practitioner to check and redress my recent knee surgery dressing as I had some blood spotting coming through. The Nurse removed the dressing and inspected the wound and was happy nothing was an issue which put my mind at ease, she then proceeded to redress my wound.
