Time and attention
I had my second appointment with Physician Associate, Iryan, on the 4th of Feb. Iryan remembered details from my first visit, listened carefully and examined me. She then discussed her proposed actions and facilitated them. As the actions included a prescription and x-ray she then conferred with the GP. As two busy professionals, I felt that they gave me their time and attention, I was taken seriously and was treated with care and respect.

Appointment was slightly late.
We were welcomed by a friendly doctor who welcomed us into their office. My daughter had been here before and asked questions about toys in the room. The doctor listened intently to respond to questions and made suitable additions to notes. She was kind and compassionate to my daughter while giving her care. She drew a diagram to help me understand the diagnosis. She also gave advice on when to come back if needed.

Went to see Dr Ucha about my previous burst varicose vein for advice. He said that as I had had previous treatment which was considered to stop me having further episodes of me bleeding enough to have an ambulance in attendance. Quite correctly referred me back to the varicose centre to find out why I bleed and hopefully to get it fixed.

Waiting time ridiculous
No problem with the appointment, I eventually saw the nurse 50 minutes after my appointment time, the nurse explained and apologised for the delay, however at no point did anyone tell me or any others waiting that the nurse was running late, I understand there was an emergency being dealt with but that does not change the fact nothing was said to those waiting!!

I'm sorry to hear that you had a long wait. Sadly there are many clinics going on at once and people seeing different clinicians. Sadly it is inevitable that in any healthcare setting there is going to be delays due to the multi-chronic diseases that some patients have that require attention which I do hope you can understand. Our reception staff are extremely busy behind the front desk dealing with queries and medical issues from the clinical team which must be their priority.
