Dr Mash appointment

Dr Mash is my nominated GP

I had an appointment with her last week to discuss my ongoing issues with lumbar spondylosis

Apart from a hiccup at the start - she was early and I was in the loo when she called me - it really was a fruitful visit.
I had plenty of time to articulate my concerns and - as ever - she was thoughtful and supportive. I came away with a plan of action (including referrals) and with the knowledge that I had been listened to.
I’ve always found this to be the case with her.

Treatment from nurses

The nurses I have have been second to none, helpful, professional, friendly and knowledgable. I can not fault any one of them they are a credit to the surgery!

Blood pressure

Although I was primarily in to have my blood pressure checked Heidi went through all my medication and explained my options.
The only thing I felt could be improved was the check in which showed a 3 minute delay on both my visits, when I actually waited 70 minutes on my first visit and 15 on the second.

Nice to meet my new Doctor

Lovely to meet my new doctor and very good that he was taking the time to check my past history, and that he took the time to do a prescription review although this had caused him to be very late running but as a one off worth his while.

First appointment, very thorough

So far so good. Doc was very thorough and checked all notes/results from previous practice. Put a plan in place which I agreed to and the practice has started to organise imminently. Bring treated like a person not a number. Receptionist was very helpful afterwards. Thank you.
