Saw GP after colonoscopy procedure
The GP I saw Dr. Brenda at East Cliff was excellent. She had a very warm and friendly manner and a great sense of humour. She explained the treatment I needed very well and made me feel confident about the medication she prescribed. A lovely warm and friendly doctor who should be cloned and put in all surgeries across Thanet and beyond!

The Doctor was very professional and helpful, she did a good examination and I'm undergoing tests, I could not have received better care. I thank all the staff at East Cliff practice for your kindness and professionalism.

Review of medication review appointment
The pharmacist was friendly and approachable. She listened to me and took into account my history and needs when reviewing other medications. I am impressed with this service as it must inevitably take the strain off the GPs.

Great service
I saw a new Doctor today, Dr Brenda O, she was very kind, she asked lots of questions and checked me over thoroughly. I felt comfortable, safe, seen and after this amazing experience requested her to be my permanent doctor. The reception staff also were super helpful as I needed more needles for my b12 injections which they sorted for me and were very welcoming.

Senior nurse practitioner experience
I can’t thank the lady I saw enough. She was absolutely amazing and I happened to be having a very bad cancer day and she put me back together! I even ended up crying happily, thankful for her empathy and kindness. Please pass on my thanks as she was just absolutely one in a million.

Very sad!
Waiting outside the surgery from 7.20am, being the first in line and still not getting a GP is disappointing. The person I saw was rude, and when I called back later and finally got through I was not offered any help.

We are so sorry to hear this. We care for every patient that we have registered with us and will help all. Sadly the appointments available outstrip the demand against the service across the country so i'm sorry that this is completely out of our hands. You are able to seek help at alternative primary care facilities once the practice has reached capacity (111 and the local urgent treatment centres) as they will also have access to your records to help treat if you are in an emergency situation that can not wait until the following day.

Reassured and better informed.
I was favourably impressed by the friendly welcome and by being offered a share of my medical history with appropriate explanations. Reassured for the immediate future but, at 78 years of age, I would like to be offered annual check-ups.
