Phoned to make an appointment

Phoned at 0800 for an appointment. Waited an hour to get through. No appointments left but the lady I spoke to was very helpful and suggested an e consult. I explained I had done one while on hold. Received an appointment for two weeks time an hour later. As I just need to review conditions, although in some pain, this is quite reasonable. Everyone I have spoken to at the practice is polite, professional and helpful.

Great doctor who cares

Every time I see the doctor he takes time to listen and always helps me, unfortunately I had to wait 4 weeks for an appointment or my score would have been better.

Visit nurse for dressing

I visit the surgery twice a week for a dressing change, today I saw a nurse who had a student from Christchurch with her. The nurse allowed the student to remove my dressing, apply Zerobase, apply Fucibet and a silver patch followed by yellow line, cotton wool dressing, elastic gauze and another yellow line to hold it all in place. All in all a pleasant and efficient experience.

Visit was a great help

I called for an appointment on Tuesday and was surprised and grateful that the GP could see me on Friday. As it turns out he discovered that I had exceptionally high blood pressure and needed to go to Accident and Emergency immediately.
Very quick and efficient service.
