In person GP appointment

I got a same day appointment. The GP I saw was very friendly and attentive. She listened to my concerns and made notes to get me referrals in order to get me the specialist medical attention needed.

Long Wait

I had to wait over an hour to see a Doctor, I understand that a Doctor was ill and so there was a delay. I would have been happy to have moved my appointment to another day as it was not urgent, or to have had the appointment over the phone at a convenient time if I had been given the option, rather than waiting. My complaint is not about the wait, more about the lack of alternatives to reduce the wait.

Experience at Reception

After my blood test - carried out swiftly and l felt at ease - l had 3 queries at reception.
Receptionist answered all my queries professionally, clearly and was friendly regarding confirming my husbands blood test results had been forwarded to memory clinic.
Arranging RSV jab and confirming l could order my husband's prescriptions on the app.
