Test results
When I rang for test results, I expected a brief answer from the receptionist. I was surprised & pleased to be given a GP appt. He was very thorough, going through the results item by item, asking relevant questions along the way. Gave some lifestyle advice, very gently, and sent prescription to the pharmacy. Gave me a timeline for another full blood test.

Doctors telephone consultation
Doctor called to review my partner’s medication as he is an end of life patient, he was so empathetic towards him but also professional. East Cliff practice has always been a great practice, I always sing their praises, especially after hearing horror stories about other practices.

Women's health at its very best
Kind, compassionate, responsive care at my coil fitting. I have had some unpleasant experiences in gynecology in the past (never at this practice though) and the two women who fitted my coil clearly understand how important it is for women to be treated with dignity and compassion, every step of the way. The tone, the care, the lack of hurry about the whole procedure was just perfect. They explained it all in a way that was easy to understand but not condescending. Thank you so much for being so caring, it means so much to have a good experience when one is in such a vulnerable position.

Emergency appointment
Had pain in lower right stomach, appendicitis symptoms. Seen same day day by Acute Doctor and told to go to A&E. Doctor suspicions were correct, was appendicitis and operated on next morning.

I'm sorry to hear that you had a long wait. Sadly there are many clinics going on at once and people seeing different clinicians. Sadly it is inevitable that in any healthcare setting there is going to be delays due to the multi-chronic diseases that some patients have that require attention which I do hope you can understand. Our reception staff are extremely busy behind the front desk dealing with queries and medical issues from the clinical team which must be their priority.
