Mixed emotions
Firstly, I would like to start by saying that ladies at the reception were friendly, helpful and supportive. My appointment was delayed for approx. 30 minutes - there was no information about delay so I would appreciate if someone would actually come to me and inform about it. The doctor was pleased however, I would encourage to improve delivery of the potential diagnosis. It left me feeling stressed and worried.

We are so sorry to hear this. We are also sorry that you felt the need to stay anonymous and couldn't contact the practice first to look into your issues you are having. Sadly there are many clinics going on at once and people seeing different clinicians. Sadly it is inevitable that in any healthcare setting there is going to be delays due to the multi-chronic diseases that some patients have that require attention which I do hope you can understand. Our reception staff are extremely busy behind the front desk dealing with queries and medical issues from the clinical team which must be their priority.

Telephone consult
I needed a GP appt on Thursday 29th August. It had to be changed to a telephone consult as I had a chest infection with Covid-19. Dr MacPherson was very helpful and punctual with the consult, prescription and a sick certificate which I required for work. Rachel in particular was really patient and helpful in the morning as she had to deal with a number of phone calls with me to amend the status of the appointment. Many thanks to them both.

Total waste of an appointment. I didn't need to be told to book an appointment, the doctor didn't even know why I was there ...nor did I ...hard enough to get to see a GP. Someone who actually needed to be seen should have had the appointment.
