Very proficient

Having an infected wound on my shin, I had been referred, by two chemists, to seek help from either my doctor or an Urgent Care Unit. I rang the surgery and was advised to use the Anima system on the practice website to seek help. I did this and submitted some photos to accompany my written details. My doctor responded within an hour with further questions and then the surgery informed me that a prescription had been sent through to the pharmacy and an appointment made for my wound to be examined five days later.
This was also handled seamlessly and very professionally. Altogether this process was very proficient.

Treated as an individual

The Doctor came to meet me a bit earlier than my appointment time and was very welcoming. He listened to my problem and, without being condescending, helped me to reach a treatment course which I am happy with. It was nice to be treated as an individual and to be listened to. Thank you for the great work

Lovely atmosphere

So happy with the surgery from the friendly receptionist to the doctors that I’ve seen. I’ve also only had to wait at the longest five or 10 minutes, if at all. Lovely atmosphere, helpful, no complaints at all. Thank you, East Cliff Surgery and staff.

Doctor listened, explained why he was not concerned about the identified skin mole concerns and signposted to a website I could follow. He also picked up on an other historical skin discolouration that he felt warranted a second opinion.

Very kind and gentle

I was asked by the practice to book an appointment to have a blood test. I found the NHS app to make the appointment very easy to use. I chose a convenient date and attended the GP practice on the day.
The nurse who took my blood was lovely. She was very kind and gentle and I didn’t even feel the needle.
It was all such a smooth process and very efficient.
