Completed an econsult, received an appointment by text message by the end of the day for a week later. Saw a lovely GP, sent for an xray. I easily booked xray online, had xray next day. Received outcome on my NHS app within 48hrs. So quick & very easy to access. Thank you.

Very thorough
Did an e-consult and received a phone call back within an hour offering an appointment the same day. Appointment was on time and once in with the Dr it was exceptionally good, he listened thoroughly, examined me thoroughly and gave his advice, opinion and advice then prescribed appropriate medicine with follow up treatment.
From start to finish the whole surgery performed exemplary and should be commended.

Blood Test at Surgery
Having the blood test was very good but after visiting the Surgery I received a message asking for a blood pressure reading, could have been done at the same time had I known earlier. Luckily I have my own at home otherwise would have meant making another appointment.

Dr Udencer (sorry rubbish with names) was absolutely fantastic, caring, interested in what I was saying, interactive and I felt empowered and walked away with a plan of action. I was surprised to be seen same day from e-consult but very grateful!

A very long wait…
I waited for 55 minutes for my appointment. This is unacceptable.
I do understand that appointments overrun occasionally, however I am always made to wait an unacceptable amount of time when I have an appointment here. Almost an hour is just ridiculous and I should have received a call or at least an explanation on check in that the doctor was running late. I could have then used that hour more efficiently.
The doctor himself was very nice and did apologise. My appointment only took 5 minutes. I had wanted to ask the doctor a question however I felt I couldn’t as all I wanted to do was cry and get out of the surgery asap.

I'm sorry to hear that you had a long wait. Sadly there are many clinics going on at once and people seeing different clinicians. Sadly it is inevitable that in any healthcare setting there is going to be delays due to the multi-chronic diseases that some patients have that require attention which I do hope you can understand. Our reception staff are extremely busy behind the front desk dealing with queries and medical issues from the clinical team which must be their priority.
