Excellent appointment with a doctor who listens and who also very clearly explained why things may happen because of repercussions of medication or just the workings of the body going awry.
My husband and I had a double appointment and we were awaiting the results of the tests and scans ordered by Dr Usha to be sent.
The results of a key brain scan had not been sent by the hospital to Dr Usha and so we are still waiting to have a diagnosis for my husband.
However, Dr Usha is referring my husband to Speech therapy sessions and to the Parkinson’s team at the hospital which is at least going to help in some way towards treating my husband’s health.
But back to me - Dr Usha is taking seriously what I said and how I feel and I have only praise for him.

In general, telephone appointments are frustrating. They never seem to be on time, for obvious reasons, but you can waste a whole afternoon watching your phone & worrying it’s your fault you’ve missed it. As I live nearby I always think a face-to-face would be better & easier. This appointment with Dr Osieyo was only 2 or 3 hours late and was helpful because when I asked her for written instructions re tapering prednisolone, she texted me them straightaway.

Having arrived in good time for my 11.30 appointment with Dr Stern, it was disappointing to find myself not being called until 11.59.
Otherwise, the discussion went generally well, despite Dr Stern’s dismissal of one particular question that has been causing concern, regarding the side effects of one of my medications.
I am grateful that he is now consulting with others in order to find the best route for my on-going use of Apixaban.

My Experience
I'm not very impressed this time with my appointment. I had already seen a pharmacist about my particular problem which I explained when I filled out the online form so I had specifically asked to see a doctor. I saw a lady who was very nice but wasn't a doctor, and I felt she wasn't able to help me. Instead she said she would talk to my Dr and call me back the same day but that call never came and still hasn't. I feel the appointment was a complete waste of time.
