Didn't really help much, the doctor was late and I had what seemed to be a quick consolation and left with the same problem I went in with because the wait for my appointment was very long and the symptoms had eased and the Doctor could find it, and told me that what I thought it was, wasn't. It's still there if I wear the wrong shoes, I left with co codamol, I asked for.

Professional and caring service...
So firstly, I am a qualified healthcare professional myself, so am able to articulate my needs appropriately when completing an Anima request. However, that aside, the response, compassion and kindness received from both the reception staff and GPs is excellent, and during a recent mental health crisis they were absolutely spot-on. They followed up on a missed Talking Therapies appointment, and whenever I interacted with the reception staff I found them to be kind, caring and extremely accommodating. The surgery sometimes gets poor feedback, but I can honestly say that with all my experiences with the staff (bar 1 GP) they have been absolutely excellent, and considering the constant pressures they face on a daily basis I cannot be more grateful for their continued support and help. Special mention to 'Dr John', Dr Culatto and Dr Larsen. Please do continue with your kindness, empathy and ability to make the patient feel heard - this can make the difference between an individual coping or absolutely falling to pieces. Thank you to ALL at the Practice.

I contacted my surgery as I had a problem ordering prescription for my husband. The NHS app that I always used to request my husband's and my own medicines had been upgraded. Unfortunately my being able to order for my husband as he is not able to had been removed. The receptionist very kindly ordered my husband's repeat prescription for me and said she would pass on the problem with the NHS to a colleague who would look into why this had happened.

Serious inconvenience
The phone appointment system is failing as there is, apparently, no means by which the surgery can let you know that their phone appointment consultation will not be calling me on the time they have agreed. I waited from mid morning until late afternoon -missing an optician's appointment - my first phone call to the surgery replied doctor running late. Second phone call similar answer: then spoke to doctor around 3pm.. I'll never accept a phone appointment again.

I'm sorry to hear that you had a long wait. Sadly there are many clinics going on at once and people seeing different clinicians. Sadly it is inevitable that in any healthcare setting there is going to be delays due to the multi-chronic diseases that some patients have that require attention which I do hope you can understand. Our reception staff are extremely busy behind the front desk dealing with queries and medical issues from the clinical team which must be their priority.
