Disappointing

Although doctors and reception staff are pleasant, there are still long queues for reception and appointments are not punctual. A recent repeat prescription was incorrect and there is no evidence of the referral to ENT I have been promised

I'm sorry to hear that you had a long wait. Sadly there are many clinics going on at once and people seeing different clinicians. Sadly it is inevitable that in any healthcare setting there is going to be delays due to the multi-chronic diseases that some patients have that require attention which I do hope you can understand. Our reception staff are extremely busy behind the front desk dealing with queries and medical issues from the clinical team which must be their priority.

Karen is very pleasant and efficient. No problem
It remains a mystery who the person was who had phoned me the previous week and cancelled my previous appointment and when asked told me that there was no one at the surgery who could take blood from the back of my hand. She was officious and booked me a hospital appointment although I said I didn’t want to go to hospital.

Waste of everyones time.

Firstly I was given an appointment with the person I asked not to have one with. When I did see the revised clinician after waiting 30-40 mins, the consult lasted less than 5 mins and clearly could have been sorted over the telephone. I thought the triage system helped to make more appropriate appointments?

I contacted the GP surgery via anima around 3.30pm, I was called by a GP at 7.30pm that night and given helpful information and advice. I’m also expecting a follow up text once the GP returns from A/L.

Very nice nurse

I had a diabetic check with nurse Amy. She was absolutely lovely. She looked beautiful and had such a bouncy, friendly personality. Very professional and took time to do her job well. I hope I see her again. If only the reception staff could be the same and not look and act so grumpy and rude.
