I had been struggling with bad anxiety and depression for some time, and urgently needed to see a GP over the Christmas period. I spoke with a really lovely and kind male receptionist who patiently listened and was very sympathetic, appreciating the urgency in trying to get me an appointment. He understood my circumstances and I managed to get an appointment as soon as was possible after Christmas.
As a professional person who works in a very busy and stressful healthcare setting myself, I cannot tell you how grateful I was to be talking to someone who actually appeared to care, and took the time to listen and action an appropriate response. Whoever you are at the practice, many thanks.

Feeling understood and cared for.
It was the second time of seeing my new GP at the surgery where I have been a patient since mid-2020. In my first appointment, she gained my trust by listening and got to know me by asking good questions. For this appointment I came prepared with a list of my symptoms so that I could communicate well to her. I am very grateful to have a sympathetic and knowledgeable GP. She has arranged a referral & further tests.

Amazing service
The lady, I believe called Nicki, that I saw was absolutely amazing! She took her time to talk through my issues with me and explained fully what she believed the issue was. She also nudged me into not ignoring symptoms and leaving them just because the surgery or I were busy. She was polite, professional, friendly and funny. We also chatted through other issues I had concerns over and was extremely informative and booked me for another appointment to deal with other issues. I did not feel rushed or a burden in any way. What an amazing person, an absolute credit to the surgery. Such a lovely lady, please say thank you for her time and effort.

NHS Anima App
Since its launch, I have used Anima several times to contact the surgery, for appointments and requests. Sceptical at first, but I now think it's a great service for patients to contact surgery. Your requests are triaged in order of priority. No hanging about for ages on the phone. I believe it has significantly improved the service.

Wonderful medical centre
Always a friendly experience here. Staff are amazing and the Doctors are very attentive and empathetic. I see Dr Ucha and Dr Stern and I am more than happy with their level of kindness and professionalism. From receptionists to nurse practitioners, this is a great medical center.
