I was disappointed for the first time.
The person who called my name never bothered to introduce herself, I’ve no idea what her qualifications were and I was in the room for less than 1 minute.

My Experience

I had to wait a long time for my appointment but it was definitely worth it. I saw Dr Osieyo and he was incredibly efficient in nailing all my issues. She dictated notes to chase up my next opthalmology appointment for me. She sorted out what medications I wasn't getting from opthalmology and my chemist.
She asked about my mentor health as I sounded very flat. I was hesitant to talk bit she said she can't help unless I talk. So I responded to her empathy and she listened and has organised someone to come toy home and help me. Apart from the wait I couldn't have asked for more - I'm truly grateful.

My Experience

The lack of empathy from Ms Sladen was disappointing. I appreciate she did not want to speculate, however there was no reassurance or warmth during the consultation. Despite a couple of attempts to share other potential related issues, Ms Sladen came across as not interested. This viewpoint was also shared by my non-hormonal husband.
