Best medical practice around
After hearing nightmare tales regarding local GP practices I realised how lucky I am. From the excellent, efficient receptionists who, under difficult circumstances, always help with a smile, to the doctors, we don’t mind running late because we know how thorough they are with the last patient.

GP appointment
I have always found my surgery efficient, the receptionists and nurses extremely helpful and patient, and my GP appointments very satisfactory. I am not keen on online appointment requests, but I understand it may be helpful for the surgery. All in all a wonderful practice.

Appointment at GP with physio
With a mixture of high massage and advice about exercises, Neil the physio helped to reduce the pain and help me live more normally whilst waiting for an operation. He was very clear in his explanations and helped me understand exactly what was going on.

Thyroid medication abnormal
I hadn't been feeling right for a while and knew my thyroid was going overactive. I sent in an anima request and was asked to pick up a blood test form. This test came back abnormal.
I was also given an appt with the GP a few weeks later. I had already cut my own tablets so I was taking 75mg instead of 100mg. I was feeling different by the time I saw my GP and she agreed that I should try the 75mg for a couple of months followed by another blood test.
I also asked about what I believe to be a broken needle in my arm and was sent for an X-ray as it was swollen.

Recent appointments
I was absolutely delighted with my two recent appointments. The first with Dr Brenda Obeseyo may well have been life changing, diagnosing the deterioraton of my chronic fibromyalgia into probable polymyalgia rheumatica. Tests are still to be done but the pathway to tackling the increased constant pain has begun. The second appointment with Sue Wilkinson was looking at the practical options for my reduced mobility. Again action was taken directly and I could see the hope of improvement in a matter of days.

I had an appointment with Hannah on Friday, the 7th of November She is particularly professional, helpful, friendly, and a pleasure to meet.
