Excellent phlebotomist.

Took blood from my difficult veins without bruising me or causing me undue pain. Also put me at ease and was very easy to talk to, I felt acknowledged and taken seriously. I wish more nurses and doctors were so patient and understanding as I find this more professional than distancing and coldness as this makes communication difficult.

Physio appointment

Having been in pain with plantar fasciitis, it was so lovely to get some relief after my physio session. He was very kind, listened and gave me advice and a follow up before I go on holiday. Very much appreciated

Appointment

After completing the online form I received a call from the receptionist within 15 minutes. My appointment with the nurse was made for the same day. The appointment was on time. During the consultation I was given as much time as I needed and didn't feel rushed. I felt I was listened to and left feeling I had a good appointment.

Face to face visit

I attended my husband’s face to face visit with him. We were waiting an hour. By this time we were getting very frustrated and thought his appointment had been missed. I went to the reception and after taking details she said that the doctor had been held up with a patient. We accept perfectly that this can happen. My suggestion is that in order to treat people with respect and consideration it would be helpful if a member of staff could just announce if there is a delay and apologise for the wait. I have worked in the nhs and found that after a long delay some people are so angry by the time they are seen it affects the consultation and the interaction with the doctor. Most people will accept delay if they are given information and not just ignored.

I'm sorry to hear that you had a long wait. Sadly there are many clinics going on at once and people seeing different clinicians. Sadly it is inevitable that in any healthcare setting there is going to be delays due to the multi-chronic diseases that some patients have that require attention which I do hope you can understand. Our reception staff are extremely busy behind the front desk dealing with queries and medical issues from the clinical team which must be their priority.

Great surgery

I've been a patient at East Cliff for many years. My last visit was just the same as my first, great doctor who listened to my problems and helped as much as he could. Seen on time, give or take a few minutes, very clean reception and communal areas as well as the doctor's room, reception staff always happy and helpful.

Speedy help

I telephoned with an issue which I was worried about. The receptionist gave me an emergency appointment that day and the acute medical nurse dressed my wound and put my mind to rest. Very good treatment indeed.
