Appointment.
Waiting an hour to be seen is a long time to wait and then to feel like the Dr couldn't get you out of the door quickly enough. As a patient this does not bode well, it's not my problem that the Dr is an hour late. If I had turned up an hour late I wouldn't have been seen. It has to work both ways.

I'm sorry to hear that you had a long wait. Sadly there are many clinics going on at once and people seeing different clinicians. Sadly it is inevitable that in any healthcare setting there is going to be delays due to the multi-chronic diseases that some patients have that require attention which I do hope you can understand. Our reception staff are extremely busy behind the front desk dealing with queries and medical issues from the clinical team which must be their priority.

Breast Lump Review
The medical reception space is light and bright. It was busy but felt positive. The receptionist was exceptionally patient with everyone in the queue and she had a friendly, approachable personality. The doctor was running 40 minutes late for the 9.30am appointment. He seemed genuinely concerned which, from a patient perspective, feels caring. The lump was reviewed and referrals for scanning and bloods were agreed. The referrals were followed up later that day and within 24 hours both appointments were booked in and confirmed by phone/email. This was super efficient.

The Anima questionnaire system is fairly intuitive but would be hard to navigate for some people. It was time consuming for me. All staff are extremely helpful and take time to listen.

They go the extra mile
Was a very good experience. My GP shows kindness, patience and always polite and very efficient. She leaves no stone unturned and will check for every possible cause. I am always very happy with my GP. The reception staff are all equally helpful, polite and courteous at all times. They go the extra mile to help you the best they can. I wouldn't change anything.

I used the Anima system to request a follow up appointment after a+e visit. Had to wait over 2 weeks for an appointment. However, I cannot fault Dr Martin. Listened to my concerns, was very thorough, explained next steps in terms of blood tests and follow up appointments. Excellent doctor.

Surgery visit request
Tried to get an appointment with surgery 2 days prior to appointment online with no success. Phoned and was informed system was down, try next day at 08.00, again system not working, managed to speak to receptionist around 08.10 and was told it might have gone on a bit late, try with link she promptly sent through.
This worked effectively and l managed to secure an appointment same day at 12.10
