Appointment

Appointment that I had was good. The doctor understood my health issue and with a bit of luck things will get better. Needed to book another appointment for a lump under my arm but was told to ring at 8 am the next day, no advanced booking even though someone was able to do this while I was waiting, so very disappointed in this service. But overall ok

After leaving my symptoms on the website, the next day I was contacted by a GP with an immediate appointment and given a hospital appointment for the following week. Can't fault the service I received

Telephone consultation

Would have preferred a face to face rather than over the telephone. I have no idea who the Dr was but he was very pleasant to talk with. Answered my couple of questions which was good. I know the Martello Health Centre health team, clinical and non clinical, do an amazing job under very stressful conditions.

Blood test

After taking blood, I asked the nurse about travel vaccinations. She said I should go to the pharmacy for advice. Went to the pharmacy where you have to pay for a consultation and the vaccines. Then found a form online to complete pre travel. Have now booked with another nurse for a consultation and recommended vaccines free of charge on the NHS. Wrong information given to me by the nurse

Re COVID injection

The whole process was excellent. Seen on time and both the staff involved with the injection were friendly and welcoming, plus the receptionist booking me in was very friendly and chatty. The whole process only took about 10 mins. Well done to everyone.
