There is no parking at the surgery, having to park at a distance, no help for any of us who are not so mobile. My actual appointment was good, treated with respect and kindness and everything was explained.

The information I received was easy to understand

The appt was for 10.00. I arrived in good time but due to the nurse who was running late I was obliged to wait until around 10.20. Ho hum these things happen, I guess. Otherwise no problems

Doctor was very thorough and listened to what I said was wrong. And sent me for scan and blood test at the hospital. He didn't rush me at all

I got a call from Dr Abdulazee. I was alarmed that she was giving me the totally wrong information until I informed her she was calling me with test results, she replied no I am calling you to say I need to refer you for an ultrasound on your lymph nodes. I explained that I had the ultrasound the week before and she was to give me the results, she told me that I had a ct scan, not an ultrasound. I said no I had the ultrasound and she was calling me with the results. She said the results were not in yet. I replied I have them in front of me on my NHS app and I had received a text from the surgery to say I was being called on Friday (today) by the Doctor to explain the findings, the issue I have is the Doctor did not know what next steps to take and basically told me my lymph notes were fine. I explained there was lumps and I had a possible rupture of my implant, could she explain the next steps. She said she wasn’t sure then asked how long and where I had them done. I explained East Grinstead hospital 30years ago, she said ok I will write to them. I said would it be put through as urgent, she said no as it’s not cancer and the hospital would not have put them in if they was dangerous. I then had to call the surgery to ask for a call from Doctor Nicola Martin as she is brilliant and has been very good with me and I would feel more comfortable to speak regarding next steps. I am pleased to say Trudi booked me in for a telephone consultation for today with Dr Nicola and I now understand my results

Couldn’t of been more helpful

The staff were very helpful, pleasant and polite. As always, the centre was very clean and tidy.

The vaccination was given at New Romney surgery, all was good.

Phoned at 8.30 am and was able to get an appointment with the doctor later in the morning - unusual but an urgent request that was given without hesitation. Very grateful.

I did a reading of my blood pressure and it was high. I had an appointment to see the nurse who said I needed to buy a blood pressure machine and to record my findings over 1 week, which is fine but why oh why do I have to buy one? The nurse said they are cheap, buy it from the local chemist. When I went in to look they were £49 or £99 but out of principle, I still don't see why I have to buy it when I will only use it for 1 week, do you not want us at the surgery anymore?

I was concerned with the cancellation of my hospital appointment regarding the referral from this GP. I was very pleased that Dr Azim, who took my fears seriously, has contacted the clinician to follow up.

I have always been treated promptly, with respect and care. I have nothing but praise for the team at Martello from reception to Doctors. Thank you as always.

I had made an appointment, when I got to the practice it was not on the system even though I had it written down, but the staff sorted it out straight away and I could see the nurse. Thank You
