Covid/Flu Jab
Had a long wait, about an hour, to get covid and flu jab even though an appointment was made. Very long queue. Short staffed. Long wait in open air not suitable for the infirm. Need to get their act together.

Once we had queued right round the building for an hour or so the log in and jabs were fine.
It seems the clinic was totally overwhelmed and bearing in mind the potential age sector many less able older people struggled with standing in such a long queue. Bearing in mind the nature of the session this aspect was clearly not well planned. Many had to go and sit in cars whilst someone held their place in the queue. Poor show.

Covid and flu jabs
Having been given an appointment time, upon arrival at the surgery found a very long queue and finally got into the surgery 40 minutes after the allotted time. Luckily the weather was favourable as standing out in the rain for that time would not have been much fun. However, once inside the surgery the process was efficiently carried out and all staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.

Flu jab
I was given a flu jab appointment but was in the queue for almost an hour. The appointment system did not work. It would have been better if flu and Covid jabs were given say between 9 - 12 then people could just turn up during those times. However, the staff were polite and hard working.

Vaccination Visit to Oaks
I had an appointment at 8.36am, arrived early to be welcomed by a queue around the car park.
No seating available for the very old and fortunately it was not raining as there was also no shelter.
Very disappointed, however the team on the day were very professional but management need to focus on planning for such events.

Long queue
I had an appointment at 11.27am. I arrived 10 minutes early and joined a long queue which snaked all round the building. I eventually had my vaccinations at 12 o'clock. Thank goodness it wasn't raining!!! When I actually got inside the building the staff were lovely. They were friendly and helpful and the vaccinations were quick and almost pain free. Other than slight aching in the area the day after, I have had no side effects.

Care and compassion
Kate was excellent, my mother was treated with care and compassion, it was so helpful to have a face to face visit where my mother's health needs could be physically seen.

Nice surgery
Went for flu and covid jabs last week, felt sorry for staff as extremely busy and the queue was very long, lots of patients were complaining, didn't help as apparently 3 staff short due to illness, once inside building staff were amazing.
We were all givien time slots which weren't met mine, was 40 later, maybe just a genic 10am /11am so people would be aware of a wait and the queue was right in front of the chemist which made things hard for their customers and the pathway from chemist to the side door is quite narrow for those with walking aids/ chairs.

The staff coped admirably with the huge numbers of people queuing in a friendly and efficient manner. My visit was on a Saturday and I believe many had volunteered to provide this vital service so I thank them all for that, great stuff.

Once inside the surgery it was fine, staff polite and excellent.
But I was in a queue for 40 minutes, most in the queue were elderly and frail.
So not good for most of us, thank goodness it was a dry day.
