Good for the state of things.

They've Done nothing but go above and beyond for me since getting my now diagnosed Anaemia looked into. The nurses have been brilliant and always do there best and are always happy to help which is in stark contrast to my old practice.

Getting an appointment is easy enough although I wish it was free phone instead of a paid line but more than helpful. I recommend them highly.

Been at The Oaks and the staff are all great there especially Simon he is amazing and also Mrs Rhodes who are both super compassionate! The reception team are really good and always sort any issues and are always very polite and empathetic! Great GP practice.

Seriously impressed with the set up.
EConsult sent at 0830 this morning and within a minute or so the Surgery rang and offered an 0900 appointment.
By 0915 seen by Hayley and prescription sorted. Brilliant 😊

My husband had an appointment today for a blood pressure check following a change of medication. He was seen by a HCSW called Emily, she listened to his symptoms and acted upon them with courtesy and empathy, he was seen by an ANP with the same amount of care and attention 10 out of 10. Please Emily do not say you are only a HCSW you are a star

I always find the staff very helpful when I come when I'm feeling sick

Arriving for my appointment, the machine didn't sign me in because I was a minute late, there was a queue at reception so I sat in waiting room for a few minutes. Once there was nobody at reception I went there to sign in but there were two women sat close together looking at the computer screen, I waited but they didn't look up or speak to me and I felt I was being ignored because whatever they were paying attention to was more important. Luckily there was another employee standing behind them (not a receptionist) and one of the ladies at the desk asked her to attend to me but she didn't even look at me when she asked her. The employee looked reluctant and uncomfortable about this as though she didn't normally carry out this kind of duty. I quickly explained that I only wanted to book in and even she was very impolite and abrupt when she asked for my details!
I understand that receptionists have to deal with stress, but there's no excuse for rudeness and being ignored...it wouldn't have taken 2 seconds of their time to look up and say politely "One moment please" and I would have been quite happy to wait.
A receptionist's duty is to help anyone who comes up to the other side of the desk, with a smile and show some respect to the surgery's patients. End of...

Caryl was excellent and gave me lots of information and notes on what I can and can’t eat.
I have had two call back phone calls from the practice that I have waited more than a day to receive and they have not happened. Not impressed.

A definite recommendation for the surgery

Had to have a blood test. Was in and out in a few minutes. The lady that took the blood was amazing, didn’t feel a thing!

Wonderful care and I'm now on the mend.

I was given an urgent appointment after an econsult and the doctor and nurse were wonderful.

Submitted an econsult and was seen that morning by Diane the nurse who was very friendly and helpful.

Have not used doctors for years and was not sure of the procedure. Called and requested call back, told to use e.consult and then received a call. Appointments quickly sorted and attended! Heard stories about reception but extremely courteous and helpful when I attended as were all staff! Following day another call to me with a hospital appointment booking! Excellent!

Would like to mention the receptionist who made my follow up appointment and booked my shingles vaccination. She was attentive, pleasant and very helpful.
