The doctor my son saw was amazing
I took my son to see a doctor, we have recently registered so when we arrived wasn’t sure what to do, the receptionist was really nice and explained and the doctor was absolutely amazing.

Had a large mole to be checked out. Very thorough check out plus photos taken to be sent off to dermatology at QA. Probably not a problem but able to access all info on NHS app. Cannot fault so far.

A fight to get an appointment
Two days in a row e consult not available. After 75 minutes waiting on the phone I was told no appointments available, to telephone e consult the next day, or telephone 111. I explained I had been unwell for three weeks with coughing, phlegm and it was now on my chest. Finally had an appointment with a very nice nurse who said it was good job that I had gone in to see her. Receptionist very nice when speaking in person. This was all very stressful and not what is needed when you feel poorly.

Human contact
It was good to actually see someone. The nurse was polite and professional and discussed the situation with me. The whole of the consultation was dealt with professionally and made me feel st ease and that my input was valued.

I saw Hayley ANP. She was great and made me feel at ease about my symptoms. She’s easy to talk to and if my tests come back negative, she's told me to see her again for other options. I really appreciated that.
