Yesterday I saw Dr Sarah Longstaff face to face, I had never seen her before but wish I could always in future. She really listened to me without looking at a screen as most Drs do, she had obviously read my notes beforehand as she was aware of all my previous visits regarding my current issue. She examined me & reassured me, she understood my anxiety with my health concerns & I felt so much better after my appointment. She would be such an asset to Oaks Healthcare.

So nice to see a qualified doctor who knows what he’s talking about. Seen and diagnosis confirmed within 5 minutes, not the hour and 10 minutes previously with a GP who argued with me I was wrong!

Referral for X-Ray
I spoke to the physio at reception who sorted the referral for me and said I needed 3 working days in the text message to then phone hospital but they actually rang me the next morning to make the appointment. Very good service and great service all round.

The nurse hardly spoke just put it in as quick as possible, didn’t even give me a chance to take my jacket off properly. I wasn’t over impressed with her.

Chasing results!
An exact repeat of a year ago- (hip replacement). Again following out of hours appointment and referral for X-rays- results are apparently lost when they reach The Oaks practice. Only after insisting on my part were they found last year - and now again after appointment 16th September my results cannot be found!
Something isn’t working in The Oaks system it would seem!
