I was very happy with the service throughout the pandemic..got through on phone fine, quick call back, in for blood test same day, results the next day and started well needed B12 supplement injection that day also. So very impressed.

Medication review
On my repeat prescription i was concerned to see that a medication review was required, called to arrange, was told to call again between 10 and 1 or do an online consultation, called surgery again but was unable to arrange review, decided to make request on my repeat medication on line, first time had a call back from clinitian second time repeat was renewed, i am sure there must be others who have been in the same situation.

Triage nurse for blood test
Excellent communication on my two visits. I explained to the nurse that this was my first visit to this surgery as I have been shielding and I explained that I was a little nervous. Both the nurses were very understanding and put me at ease. Thank you to all the staff it’s very reassuring to know that this is a a safe surgery.

Crookhorn Lane Surgery
Times of intense frustration when prescriptions don't get received by the pharmacy and both the pharmacy and the surgery seem to blame the other. Due to opening hours it can end up 4 days before getting the medication.
However, when contacting by phone (when eventually getting through the recorded messages) the staff are very understanding.

Annual blood test at surgery
Arrived at Crookhorn surgery, (Wearing a face mask) which had clear instructions on door of procedure. Rang bell and a receptionist arrived at door and requested name and appointment time, and advised me she needed to check my temperature, told me it was ok and to use computer to book in and then take a seat, which were more than two metres apart. After a few minutes the nurse came out and showed me the way to the consultation room and carried out the procedure and answered all of my questions, she then opened the door for me to leave the room.
The exit doors are automatic.
The whole experience gave me the feeling that everything was clinical, professional and a safe environment.

I felt very safe on arrival, the staff made every attempt to cater for my wellbeing with a kind and thoughtful visit. Even at these sad times with this pandemic all involved had an uplifting smile and the experience was very professional.
