Crookhorn Surgery

Instructions were easy to follow, the receptionist was polite and her instructions were clear and easily understandable. Waited for a few mins, the doctor who saw was very polite explaining everything clearly.

The woman who I had deal with me came from my own practice so I felt comfortable straight away.

It was a good experience, everything was in place for what we are going through at the moment with Covid.

Great friendly experience in these uncertain times!

I normally attend Cosham Park House Surgery. However, these are exceptional times regarding the Covid 19 pandemic. I found getting to the Crookhorn Lane Surgery fairly straightforward. Just two short bus rides. The staff there were very polite, and I received prompt attention.

Blood test done twice but not received any call back

Very efficient in the situation we are in at the moment. I don't to say too much more as I attend appointments and receive treatment which is normally blood tests or similar then leave taking care to practice safe distancing.The staff are polite and efficient which is all one needs .

I contacted the surgery to request a telephone consultation, a doctor returned my call within the hour and my problem was resolved.

Thorough Diabetic review Carried out.

Routine blood / pressure check carried out, greeted at door, self login simple to use, receptionist directed me to seating area. Appt was on time, quick and efficiently all were friendly and professional.

Needed ear treatment, waiting for call from GP, got a prescription was told it will be ready in 2 minutes to collect from the chemist next door to the surgery.
It wasn’t there, surgery now closed. I came back in the morning still no prescription, contacted the surgery and they game me a copy of the prescription that had been sent over, handed to the chemist waited 20 minutes for it to be ready.
This should of been a 10 minute thing but 45 minutes later and I walk away with my prescription. Not good. I would rather suffer than go back.

Great care as always

Surgery Nurse rang me to check on my asthma and gave advice on technique for taking inhalers and rinsing mouth with water after taking the steroid inhaler. If I had any issues or concerns related to my asthma then contact the surgery.

Given that the practice is running under very difficult situations at the moment, the service was good. It did seem strange to me to try and do a diabetic review just by phone. it still ended up that I had to attend the practice on three different occasions, one for blood test one for blood pressure and weight and one for a foot check. Possibly this could have been done better but I fully accept times are difficult.

The staff at Crookhorn surgery are very professional and helpful I cant speak highly enough of them, keep up the good work.

Attended for a fasting blood test in the morning. Was seen promptly, courteously and efficently by the friendly nurse. No problems with this visit.

Friendly staff. Always help and advice/treatment from doctor when needed. Doctor Manning a lovely Doctor.

Seen quickly and problem dealt with eficiently

At the end of March I was without knowing it a bad case of Eczema (circulatory). I visited a doctor at Cosham Park after making an appointment (Dr Chhapia) and I was prescribed some Cetraben and Derm Oil. A few days passed with the situation getting a little worse so I phoned again and visited Crookhorn Surgery to see Dr Moseley. I also went to see a private Dermatologist? This was in no way detrimental to the two previous Doctors who had given me so much peace of mind with the problem. Dr Moseley in fact started to advise me that after having "puffy" ankles" for a good few years from taking Amlodipine (10mg) he reduced the dosage to 5mg with the increased Water Tablet Furosemide from 2.5 (Bendroflumethzide) to 20mg. This obviously is treatment for Blood Pressure. In closing Dr Moseley has rectified the problem all round where as I have no puffiness at all around my ankles, and I don't take a water tablet at all I check my BP a couple of times a week which after discussing it on the phone with Dr Moseley it is not dangerously high. I am absolutely amazed at the difference and this message is a massive Thank You to Dr Moseley and everyone concerned in these troubled times. The E consult is an excellent system along with the repeat prescription online service. I would like to say that like a lot of people everybody moans about the Surgery for what ever reason? I cannot make any criticism at all with the service provided to me in the last couple of months thank you all once again.

Have only attended this surgery twice ( usually use Cosham). Seen promptly by polite and amiable Staff, as I was on my previous visit. This Practice has the added advantage of on-site parking.
