Nurse was kind, professional and courteous. She drew my blood perfectly on first attempt, very little pain. This was the second time I've seen this particular Nurse and both times she's been friendly and made the experience quick and painless.

Recent Appointment
Appointment was good but needed a blood test and that waiting list was ridiculous. Had to go to my local hospital, now we know why our hospitals are full and a&e as you can’t access the doctors system. Working full time I haven’t got time to sit in Quueing system which I think caters for the non workers only, dont know who came up with this system but it is failing the working class.

I'd had a sinus infection for 5 days my face and eye was swollen because of it. I rang to get Emergency appointment at 2 I rang back at 5.15 concerned it was getting late and I hadn't had a call and wouldn't be seen . The man on switch board was obnoxious and belittled me for ringing back and told me of course you will be seen. Doctor Chowdry rang me back at 6.30 and told me she wouldn't see me and that if it was that bad go down to the walking in, I told her I was struggling even walking and couldn't drive because of the pain in my head and face she then told me to get a taxi! I rang my son who was at work and he had to leave work to take me.

Pick up repeat prescription for my wife was not dispensed properly, an item missing which essential for her jab next Monday 30th September at 16,40 hours. I had to waste time queuing in the Chemists to find out about the discrepancy and back to the surgery. Ensure that repeat prescription which my wife ordered on line on 13th September 2019.

I was on the phone trying to get an appointment, phoned at 10am on 19 Sept, in total I was on the phone for over 90 mins, surely this system has to improved. Did not get an appointment time until next day for an appointment Tues 24 Sept. Doesn't help that we can't phone until after 10 now.

There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. I have always been able to speak or meet with a Doctor when I need to at this Surgery. The staff are familiar to me and I really appreciate how they work within the Practice. The on-line booking system is also good for repeat prescriptions and sometimes you can find an appointment on there!

My husband and I are very happy to be patients at Crookhorn surgery and feel very fortunate to have the staff that you provide from GP's to receptionists.
Always helpful and kind and we don't hear many people moaning about your service like we do from other people about their Doctors. It's very difficult to provide a perfect service when GP's are in so short supply but Crookhorn surgery does it's up-most to deliver a good service.
