Professional approach
Dr Palmer proved to be a polite, pleasant and above all, completely professional visitor. He approached my medical problem in a sympathetic and practical manner, explaining the problem in a simple and understandable manner before making a suitable and successful remedy.

Recent Appointment
I had suggested that the appointment I was given was for a general consultation as I am now 64 and I thought that it may be time to see a doctor about various ailments. From the time I was called the doctor was panicking about the time allowed for the appointment IE 10 mins and no more (to include the write up). I felt that this was very uncomfortable for us both. Your booking system only offered me one 10 minute appointment with an unknown doctor.

I have nothing but praise
I have been attending appointments at Crookhorn surgery ( Portsdown practice) for 20 years. I have always found that I haven’t been kept waiting for appointments and am able to get a appointment for myself and my daughter very quickly. I think over the last few years the running of the surgery has improved dramatically and also my dad attends this surgery too and if wasnt for the quick response from Dr Manning my dad would might not of been here to tell the tale so I have nothing but praise for the doctors and staff who don’t always get a good response from us patients.

Flu Injection and query about asthma review
Visited the surgery promptly after receiving a text message that flu vaccinations were available on a drop in basis at any time in surgery open hours. There was a wait of approximately 10 minutes, but was then seen by a Doctor and given the injection. Whilst at the surgery I queried my online asthma review with the receptionist and my query was resolved very promptly and politely. I always find the staff and doctors very friendly at Crookhorn surgery, and if I have to wait, I look through the books in the surgery that are available for a donation to the practice so the wait doesn't seem long.

Stitch removal
I visited the practice nurse to have a stitch removed from my forehead. Mary the nurse was very reassuring and put me at ease to have the stitch taken out. Thank you Mary for being kind and gentle as my forehead was still sore.

Thanks for a very caring service
When ever my wife and I have had to visit Crookhorn Surgery we have always had first class care from staff and doctors. If it hadn't been for the doctors at Crookhorn being on top form I would have died with Cancer, but they acted quick and I was in for an operation and it turned out OK so for myself and my family we would not like to go anywhere else. Thanks for a very caring service.
