Less time to wait for appointments
I believe that the surgery has improved over the last six months. Before, you had to wait weeks before being seen by a doctor, now you have less time to wait, and that can only be good.

Attempting to get vaccinated
I am rather surprised that the Dr is now doing vaccinations which although they are all excellent is an expensive staffing resource? Also anticipated wait 20mins was much longer so I had to leave, hence vaccination not received.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you wait was longer than anticipated. We offer a walk-in service for vaccinations in order to best meet the needs of our patients. All of our clinicians that are trained to give immunisations do give them and this includes the doctors.There can sometimes be a delay depending on the clinical demand on any given day.

Short wait times
Received a Text Message to say that this winters flu jab was available and that I could "pop" into the Surgery without an appointment. True - but not quite! I was on my was back from Heathrow airport and thought the as I was almost passing the surgery on my way home I would just "pop" in! HOWEVER what I had not read - indeed if it was there - from the Text - was that this was not possible between 12:00 and 14:00 - bad news for me as I arrived at 12:05! However, I went back the next day at a time more convenient for the Surgery and after a short wait of about 20 minutes I got the inoculation which took about 14 nanoseconds!

Walk-in-Flu Jab. As a result of your text informing me Flu jab was due, I arrived with my husband just after noon.
I was informed that I was not in the correct time slot, but was given the jab also the MMR jab as was my husband.
Excellent service as usual.

I took my own blood pressure reading twice on the pod in the waiting room. Both times the result was extremely high and when I saw the doctor was told the machine was temperamental and not accurate, so what is the point of having it and scaring patients with the results.

Quick appointment when necessarry
Had an issue that the surgery assessed as needing a quick appointment, and so was seen quickly. Doctor very professional as usual. This practice is operating under the same problems as the rest of the NHS, and I've only ever experienced a good service considering those limitations.
