Recent Appointment
The appointment, with a nurse for a warfarin blood test, was friendly, efficient and prompt as usual. However, the booking process leaves much to be desired. These appointments cannot be made on line so require a phone call. The pre-recorded diatribe now contains the term "care navigators" when referring to the receptionists, so it is hard to take anything seriously after that.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand.at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

I visited surgery in response to annual diabetes review, the appointment was kept on time and the specialist nurse gave a professional, informative thorough insight into my needs. As a result of the decisions and advice given a follow up appointment was made and attended at which future options were put in place.
