I have to have a lot of blood tests due to a genetic condition.
Usually with routine blood tests with a small needle I end up very sore and lots of bruising.
However this appointment was great, virtually pain free and no bruises at all, a marked change from the usual stab and go

Nice surgery but
I was seen with only 10mins delay, which is good.
The doctor, however did not examine or ask if I had any symptoms. He just ordered the blood test and dismissed my queries. There are ways to talk to your patients but dismissing their fears before the bloods are back is not one of them.
I hope not to see him again

When I attended the surgery for a routine blood test, the nurse on duty failed to access blood from my right arm, in spite of painfully skewing the needle, so she moved to my left arm: as a result, I ended up with heavy bruising in the crook of both of my arms

Fantastic service
Brilliant service, called surgery had to to wait 10 minutes. Dr Shepherd called me. Dr asked for photos, which I sent. Dr called me back to say they will see me at Crookhorn in 1hr 15min. Saw a Dr there and he got me a scan in an hour, and some tablet I collected. Went to QA Vascular department, had a scan, no clots were found, absolutely brilliant and fantastic service. Well done.

Blood Test Results
After having a blood test the way I received results was a bit upsetting in view of my health issues. Being told by text I’m on potassium tablets as levels were low then being told I was pre diabetic again by text was upsetting with no explanation!

Had a blood test which was very painful and burning never experienced this before, after dozens of times giving blood at blood transfusion service/hospitals/g.p.surgeries, attended Q.A today and they refused to use the same arm because of bruising.
