I was invited for a health check because of my age group. When I asked how quickly the blood test results would come back, the Healthcare Nurse said within 24 hours. When I looked online at my blood test results, it stated "Satisfactory" Then, by the next day, I got a text from the surgery asking me to rebook for a second test to have some of the blood tests redone! So we shall wait and see!

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry that you have been given conflicting information. Blood tests can come back within 24 hours but some results take longer. It is therefore worth checking your online record, as you have done, for a week after where you will be able to see all filed results. We operate on a no news is good news - in that satisfactory results are filed and anything that requires action you will be contacted about. This will often be by text or email unless it requires swifter attention. Thank you

My recent experience was not with Crookhorn but on their behalf. It was with group pharmacy but Jomy, very pleasant & understanding, was unable to help much because the system was not operating properly and the. records were not up to date.

Unfortunately, our clinicians often encounter issues/emergencies that put them behind, this is out of our control, we appreciate your understanding in this.
The clinicians do also have catch up slots to be able to catch up on work in these situations, so it may be that in the afternoon the clinician had caught up.
