Both my wife and I had appointments today and also needed to make further appointments. Whilst the Receptionist was unable to assist with one appointment she asked that we leave the matter with her. Within two hours we received a message offering a suitable time and date. Impressed with the courtesy and assistance we received.

We have been with the practice for 5 years and have seen great improvement in the service provided.
We often have fast replies, especially when calling for emergencies or for our children.
Most recent visit they gave us a double booking for the children and treated one and referred the other with no hardship.
Only lost a star here as the prescription wasn't signed which resulted in a multiple pop back into the surgery from the pharmacy next door which I had two young children waiting for an hour.
Visits when my little one was newborn were nice and the nurse went saw (and for his jabs) was lovely and listened intently to my concerns.
We are under Crookhorn but have visited other surgeries within the group with equal success.

She was very pleasant. Explained in full what her role was and how if I needed could support me with my recent diagnosis. All information was relayed to me by text which was very helpful. Nice to know that the surgery has actually noted my diagnosis and called me without any prompting. I was very appreciative for this care

Trying To Get To See A GP
Between Friday evening and Monday morning two carers, two district Nurses and an Ambulance Crew examined my Wife's weeping stomach wound and discoloured lower back and all insisted that she arrange to see a Doctor.
So on the Monday morning I rang our local surgery and tried to do this for my Wife.
Eventually, after enduring the usual time-wasting messages that precede speaking to anyone I managed to speak with somebody. Who, after listening to a description of my Wife's condition, promised a call-back which never happened. As you can well imagine, this has coloured my view of the NHS.
