Pleased with the outcome

Lovely staff, and efficient check-in on the machine.
E-consult took quite a long time to get back to me but I understand that GPs are busy and overworked. However they listened to my symptoms and did referrals accordingly so overall I am pleased with the outcome and experience.

Quick and painless

Came to the surgery for a cervical screening. Really friendly nurse and really quick and painless in performing the procedure. Also gave me some advice on a fertility app which was very useful. Only downside is that this is not my local surgery and therefore had to travel to this appointment as could not get an appointment closer to home.

Helpful and friendly

The receptionist efficiently arranged my tests and I was able to take a cancelled appointment at the time and saved a return visit at a later date. The nurse was helpful and friendly.

The online appointment and evaluation process is relatively efficient and I'm sure saves GP time, however having completed the blood tests and pathology in a timely fashion I heard nothing in the last two weeks about the outcome and what happens next.

Crookhorn Lane Surgery

I didn’t see the point of this exercise. Nobody has sounded my heart for 3 years. I felt as if everything was being read from a book. The same as last year. I don’t feel great. I am 87 years old. Put on a lot of weight and get really anxious and stressed and depressed since Covid was told to do more exercise. I said I didn’t want depression tablets when I was told I could get in touch with surgery. That was a joke in itself. I’ve even tried Econsult in the last week and that isn’t available. I know what my diet is but cannot keep to it I find, living on my own.

Outstanding patient care

I cannot praise too highly the level of kindness and care that I received when attending the surgery to see a GP. There was no sense of being rushed and I felt that I was truly listened to. I left with a clear plan of action and feeling supported and cared for.

Treated with respect and politeness

Yet again I was treated with respect and politeness. I was seen on time by the nurse and the appointment was quick and professional. I also had a problem which the reception team sorted out straightaway. Well done Crookhorn.

A really good appointment

I had a really good appointment with Dr Whittamore, he really listened and took the time to weigh things up. It's the first time I have had a consultation with a GP in a long time and was expecting a few minutes, but I had about half an hour and the doctor tried to cover all the issues I took to him.
