It is always refreshing to have a polite courteous person on the phone especially in todays world of covid. I am very happy to say that the lady I spoke with was so helpful and helped me tremendously.

I cannot fault this surgery but it would be nice if they had a clinic or helpline where you could just ask about something that was worrying without actually having to make an appointment to see a doctor.

Friendly.

I have only been there three times as it's not my usual doctor's. Each time has been quick, while the waiting room seems clean and tidy, staff have been friendly. My only negative would be that they didn't have the dressings they needed to cover my incision. Not the staffs fault of course.

Anxious

On arriving I was having quite a panic, couldn’t stop shaking. I had lists with me. The GP was very understanding and listened to me. He gave me a lot of confidence that something would be sorted out and somebody cares. It has been extremely hard for Doctors and medical staff. Through this past 18 months I’d like to thank them all at Crookhorn Surgery for working through this Pandemic.

I arrived promptly and within a minute was seen by the surgery nurse. She was very professional and succeeded in completing the tasks without any unnecessary fuss. Simply superb service.

Blood test appointment

I received a text asking me to book a blood test. I did this online straight away, but when I got to my appointment I found out I should have fasted before the test. As everyones time was wasted, it looks appropriate for patients to be informed of this in the future!
