Excellent service
I got a text invite for a Tetanus and MMR jab with a link to book an appointment.
There were plenty of days/times to choose from to make the appointment and it was very easy to book - much better than trying to phone, which is sometimes impossible.
I turned up at the surgery for my jab and it all went smoothly and quite quickly and the doctor was really nice.

IPF exsascerbation
Getting to see a doctor is the most difficult thing in the world to do. I have an exsacerbation for my specialist condition. My named doctor is the specialist in this area for the BLF and the Asthma UK and I never get to see him. He is the lung specialist and I required his help. I was even told that there is another lung specialist in the practice, I am still not allowed to see her, I beleive her name is Kerry. Two specialists in the practice, not allowed to see them. Listen to Dr Whittermore every week on BLF website asks me to consult with him if required. Never able to????? Very poor practice almost unethical?

Booster tetanus and MMR jab
GP very supportive and impartial as he was aware that I had not had the Covid vaccine. I explained why and that I had Covid so felt that my own immunity was sufficient. I never felt judged or pressured, he just made it clear on my choices and that if I changed my mind then the vaccine would be made accessible to me.

Crookhorn has 3 regular doctors based at the surgery, with the ever-increasing demands on our services, it is simply not possible or, indeed, appropriate for all our patients to see a GP, particularly for urgent problems. All of our Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners are fully clinically trained and supported by an on-site duty doctor if they need any assistance whatsoever.
